Frequently Asked Questions

Is Fawn safe for kids?

Yes. She won't say anything inappropriate for a child and has been designed working with play therapists and executive function coaches.

Who is Fawn for?

Fawn is for children and adolescents challenged with executive function, anxiety, and symptoms of being neurodivergent. Those that struggle with impulsiveness, punctuality, cleanliness, friendships, anxiety, divorce, or school.

How were experts involved in Fawn design?

We interviewed child psychologists, a play therapist, and executive function coaches to understand how they help neurodiverse children. Then, we read studies and literature from Adele Diamond, Dr. Becky, John Medina, and many others. We applied research to design Fawn's functions. Finally, we worked with Sophia Ansari, Registered Play Therapist; and executive function coaches Seth Perler and Sean McCormick to design features specific to supporting children.

What is the difference between Fawn and Willow?

There is no difference. Every child names their Fawn and Willow was the first Fawn to be named.

How does Fawn help neurodivergent children and adolescents?

It's amazing how much of a difference a word from a supportive friend can make. Fawn is that supportive friend, but even better because she was trained by executive function coaches and play therapists.

What is the difference between Magical Forest Chat and Fawn the Emotional Support Animal?

Magical Forest Chat is a text message conversation with your Fawn; the Emotional Support Animal brings your Fawn home for in person conversation. Kids get similar coaching and support, but through a messaging app instead of in person.
